I asked a very talented and creative girlfriend to custom make two necklaces for me, one in brown tones and another in black. AND I ADORE THEM! I picked them up last night and just had to share them with you and their very special meaning.
First, here is the Sur-Thriver, a word/concept I like so much more than Survivor. (See “What Do You Own” for more information on Sur-Thriver.)
Each necklace has an adjustable wooden ball at the back (not seen) so you can vary the length. How cool!!
On the back of each is the Chinese word Wasah. (My invented spelling of how it sounds phonetically; I have no idea how it’s really spelled, although I exhausted numerous resources in my quest to find out.)
While in the process of studying prayer, I ran across this word Wasah, which means, “Already done,” as in Already Healed. Several of my girlfriends knew this was ‘my word’ and used it often when praying with me and for me.
I intend to wear the necklaces with the Wasah facing me, touching my skin. I believe that it will serve as a tactile reminder, however conscious or subconscious it may be at the time, of the essence of Already Done, Already Healed.
