Love and Entrepreneurship
I love an inspirational talk like nobody’s business! And when it’s someone dear to me giving the talk, a friend who completely ROCKS it, I just have to share! TLT Readers, I’d like you to meet my friend, Kamal Ravikant, author of Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It and Live Your Truth.
Be ready to fall in love with him, but more importantly, be ready to fall in love with yourself, as you listen to his inspirational talk called “Love and Entrepreneurship,” a talk he delivered recently at a venue called Awesomeness Fest.
“This is a talk about how to be our best selves,” Kamal says. If you think you’ve heard that before and surely there’s nothing new out there under the sun, I encourage you to sit back, grab a cuppa tea, and open your mind and heart to be moved with this loving and inspirational message.
Here are a few of my favorite take-aways from Kamal’s talk:
Rule: “If something scares me, there’s magic on the other side.”
Joanna’s Story: What if this is Heaven? …I can have, be, do anything I want. (This story alone is worth watching the talk!)
People who are both successful AND fulfilled have this attitude in common: Life is happening FOR me, not TO me.
“I only take opportunities with people I love. Whatever I do is an expression of me.”
“We are the effort, never the outcome.”
If you haven’t watched the video yet and are just reading my favorite parts, I encourage you to click above and watch the talk — the context Kamal provides will enhance these snippets in a way that does them justice.
Fall in love with yourself. Fall in love with LIFE.
